Krastsvetmet wins "Best report" award at the 7th International Congress

The 7th International Congress and Exhibition “Non-Ferrous Metals and Minerals — 2015” was recently held in Krasnoyarsk. The Congress was dedicated to prospects of non-ferrous metals development, as well as the latest scientific advancements leading to improvements in the metallurgical process. The program included plenary meetings, lectures, seminars, and the first “Metallurgists’ School” youth forum.

Each year, about 250-300 reports across a range of areas are presented at the plenary meetings. Krastsvetmet is traditionally involved in discussions regarding precious metals production technology. This year, the Company presented new approaches for reducing production waste and emissions, limiting pollution in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, efficient treatment of refractory industrial products and solutions in refining production.

At the end of the Congress, “Intensification of the refractory industrial products break-down with barium peroxide in refining production” report by Pavlov E.A., the head of the analytical area of Krastsvetmet science and technology center, was acknowledged as the best in the “Precious metal production” field.
