    Krastsvetmet wins “Green Development — Evolution Awards 2014”

    Krastsvetmet has won the silver prize for “Best integrated solution in the field of green technologies” at the Green Development — Evolution Awards 2014. The contest was held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation from 10/13/2014 till 11/14/2014. Participating companies were evaluated in five categories, to recognize environmental achievements of sustainable development in the Russian Federation.

    Krastsvetmet has confirmed the compliance of its Integrated Management System with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 international standards during a compliance audit conducted by the Bureau Veritas Certification on December, 1.

    Krastsvetmet in 20 fastest growing companies of “Expert 400” rating

    Krastsvetmet was ranked 8th out of 20 fastest growing companies in 2013 based on ‘Expert 400’ authoritative research results. The rating results were presented at the X Annual large business forum “Expert-400: who creates Russian economy”, organized by Expert RA agency on 8 October, 2014 in Moscow.

    Krastsvetmet performance indicators for 9 months of 2014

    Krastsvetmet’s revenue amounted to 50 billion rubles, which was 159% up on 2013. As a result of operations, the Company’s net income overcame the 9 months of 2013 and closed with 53% growth. It amounted to 3.5 billion rubles.

    Museum opens following renovation

    On July 16, Krastsvetmet proudly opened its renovated museum. Plant labor veterans, representatives of the City Administration Department of Culture and Siberian Federal University were present at the museum’s re-opening.

    20 years of jewelry victories

    Krastsvetmet’s jewelry manufacture complex was commissioned on September 16, 1994, using Italian technologies and equipment. The first products were made of silver 925". In 1995 gold jewelry manufacture was launched and in 1996 — platinum. In 2001, Krastsvetmet introduced jewelry products made of palladium. At present Krastsvetmet specializes in the supply of machine woven chain products made of gold, silver, platinum and palladium and works directly with large retail jewelry chains both in Russia and CIS countries.

    Krastsvetmet calls for removing import duty on precious metal-containing wastes

    Currently the import duty on secondary raw materials containing precious metals is 19% in Russia. Upon completion of the transition period of Russia’s entry in WTO it will be reduced to 15%. However, the reduction will not solve the issue of precious metal-containing wastes import to the Russian Federation.

    Krastsvetmet’s revenue amounted to 29.3 billion rubles, which was 215% up on 2013. As a result of operations, the Company’s net income overcame the 2013 and closed with 35% growth. It amounted to 1.7 billion rubles.
