    Krastsvetmet performance indicators for 9 months of 2014

    Krastsvetmet’s revenue amounted to 50 billion rubles, which was 159% up on 2013. As a result of operations, the Company’s net income overcame the 9 months of 2013 and closed with 53% growth. It amounted to 3.5 billion rubles.

    Museum opens following renovation

    On July 16, Krastsvetmet proudly opened its renovated museum. Plant labor veterans, representatives of the City Administration Department of Culture and Siberian Federal University were present at the museum’s re-opening.

    20 years of jewelry victories

    Krastsvetmet’s jewelry manufacture complex was commissioned on September 16, 1994, using Italian technologies and equipment. The first products were made of silver 925". In 1995 gold jewelry manufacture was launched and in 1996 — platinum. In 2001, Krastsvetmet introduced jewelry products made of palladium. At present Krastsvetmet specializes in the supply of machine woven chain products made of gold, silver, platinum and palladium and works directly with large retail jewelry chains both in Russia and CIS countries.

    Krastsvetmet calls for removing import duty on precious metal-containing wastes

    Currently the import duty on secondary raw materials containing precious metals is 19% in Russia. Upon completion of the transition period of Russia’s entry in WTO it will be reduced to 15%. However, the reduction will not solve the issue of precious metal-containing wastes import to the Russian Federation.
